THE 2009 THEME
The Art of Movements
Our themes the past few years have been heavily biased to the "science" or "mechanics" of church planting. This year we will broaden our view to the "Art of Movements." In our lifetime, we have not experienced true church planting movements in the U.S. We've only seen them overseas.
Most conferences (including ours in the past) take the approach of "come and learn from us." We are turning that upside down (or maybe right-side up!). In 2009 the call is to "come and learn with us... as we experience the stories of those who are in the middle of movements... as we discover what God is 'up to' around the globe." Come prepared to be surprised, challenged, and inspired to learn how we can be even more effective in the calling God has given each of us.
As you've come to expect from Exponential, the programming is extensive and features 15 pre-conference intensives, 7 main tracks, over 60 national speakers, and over 3,000 other planting leaders. Main tracks include missional, pre-launch, post-launch, spouses, multi-ethnic, reproducing churches, and nuts & bolts. Click here to learn more.

It is therefore critical to explore the nature and forms of networks. In doing so, we need realize that this is closer to our truest expression of ecclesia, even though it might at first seem somewhat strange to us. In doing this, we must realize that we explore things that relate not just to issues of reactivating missional church, but to much of what we experience in God's world. Read more >
